Taking advantage of his business trip to Malaysia, Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, visited Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre ( http://www.gimc.com.my ) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This medical center is considered to be the best private hospital in Malaysia. Although there are no separate clinics available for Japanese and Korean clienteles, it is the only medical facility in Malaysia that houses both Japanese & Korean interpreters on-site.

Mark Chan attended the 4th Annual Hospital Management Asia (HMA) Conference, a 2 day event, and also participated in Joint Commission International's Executive Briefings - Asia, a full day pre-conference seminar, that took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There were 527 delegates from 32 countries representing 311 hospitals, at this year's conference. It is the most number of delegates to date that have attended the Asia's premier learning conference for hospital managers.
