Bilingual Volunteers Participate in the 3rd Annual Taichung Int'l Food Festival |
|
Joanna Chang, Project Coordinator of International Patient Center, along with Jen-Ai Hospital bilingual volunteers gave their support to the Compass Taichung International Food Festival held at the plaza in front of SOGO. Mark K. Chan, the Program Director of International Patient Center and Joanna Chang recruited 15 bilingual volunteers to participate in the event this year. The bilingual volunteers assisted on site decoration, booth set-up, selling magazines and raffle tickets, and cleaned up in relays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Tony Hsu, the chief in the Department of Community Services was at the scene to cheer bilingual volunteers and his warm visit wiped the tiredness off everyone's face. The teamwork and enthusiasm of the volunteers was the biggest support through the whole activity. The Compass and Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali really appreciate these volunteers' kindly help. Without them, the activity wouldn't be that successful.
