Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in various activities to
further develop the International Patient Center program at
the hospital. The following are just some of the activities
that the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in during May:

Thursday, May 12, 2005 -
Japanese Women Association in Taiwan: Taichung'
s Site Visit |

A group of ladies consisting of
Ms. Mihara, Ms. Koseki, Ms. Zawa and Ms. Nisiyama from the Japanese Women Association in
Taiwan: Taichung visited Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali. Mark Chan, Program Director
of International Patient Center and May Chen, Project Manager of International
Patient Center provided a tour and explanations, including the
VIP Inpatient Room, OB/GYN, the OR, the Outpatient Department, the Emergency
Department, the Radiology Department and the Health Examination Center. They
were quite impressed to see that a hospital in Taichung
is able to provide bilingual services to its international
patients. They were also impressed with the clean
and bright hospital space.

Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali Receives Taichung Unlocked
2nd Edition Guidebook |

Mark Chan, Program Director of International
Patient Center, was asked by Wendy Cawley, editor
of Taichung Unlocked 2nd Edition Guidebook, to update
Chapter 6: Health, in order to provide correct health
information for foreigners living in Taichung. Jen-Ai
Hospital International Patient Center was also recognized
as being one of the sponsors by placing a 1/2 page
advertisement. As a result, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali
received 2 complimentary copies of the guidebook,
along with personalized thank-you letters from the
editors of Taichung Unlocked 2nd Edition.

Sunday, May 22, 2005 -
Bilingual Volunteers Participate in the 2nd Annual
Taichung Int'l Food Festival |

Jennifer Chu and May Chen, Project
Managers of International Patient Center along with
Jen-Ai Hospital bilingual volunteers helped at the
Compass Taichung International Food Festival which
was held at the plaza in front of SOGO. They assisted
with site decoration, booth set-up, selling the
goods, and clean up. Taichung City mayor, Jason
Hu, arrived at the scene to mingle with the public.
He praised the event and hoped there would be more
events in the future in the Taichung area for our
international friends, that would also promote the
tourism industry in Taichung City.
