ˇ@ˇ@ In November 2006, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in various activities to further develop the International Patient Center program at the hospital. The following are just some of the activities that Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in November:

AmCham General Assembly Meeting
  As a former corporate member and ex-Board member of AmCham, Mark Chan, the Program Director of International Patient Center (IPC), and Joanna Chang, Project Coordinator of IPC, attended the AmCham General Assembly Meeting at the Splendor Hotel Conference Room on the 13th Floor. Approximately 40 individual, corporate and permanent AmCham members took part in this event to vote on the new Board of Directors for the coming year. Amendments to the AmCham Articles, 2006 Financial Report, 2007 Budget Plan, 2007 Activities Plan and Update on AmCham KIDZ Scholarship program were discussed at this important meeting for AmCham.

Survey Visit to China Medical University Hospital in Taichung, Taiwan
  As one of the awardees of "2004 Good English Environment Award" in Taiwan, Mark Chan, the Program Director of International Patient Center, was asked to become one of the four judges to survey China Medical University Hospital's ( http://www.cmuh.org.tw/htdocs/english/e_index.htm ) English Environment efforts. Presentation in English, site visit to various medical departments and discussion on how to improve services for the international patients was carried out. Mark Chan shared his hands-on experience on launching the first International Patient Center in Taiwan at Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali and offered several practical recommendations on how the hospital can provide useful services to the international community living in Taichung.
