2nd Asia Pacific Conference on Risk Management for Preventive Medicine |

Mark K. Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, attended the 2 nd Asia Pacific Conference on Risk Management for Preventive Medicine (APCRMPM) in Kota Bharu, Malaysia, organized by the Union of Risk Management for Preventive Medicine (URMPM) and World Health Risk Management Centre (WHRMC). More than 24 speakers from U.K., Australia, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia were invited to speak about "Health Risk Management: Current & Future Tool of Preventive Medicine", which was the theme of the conference.

Tokyo University Medical Student's Site Visit to Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali |

Taking advantage of a week long break between semesters, Atsushi Obata, Tokyo University School of Medicine medical student, visited our hospital for a site visit. During Mr. Obata's short visit, Dr. Chan Liao, Superintendent of Jen-Ai Hospital, arranged for several dinners and practical training at the Radiology Dept., where Dr. Juang, Chief of Radiology Dept. taught him the bare essentials of reading various X-ray images. Mr. Obata was quite impressed with the training he received and especially the Picture Archiving & Communications Systems (PACS) that is being installed at the hospital.
