International Patient Center program at the hospital. The

Bilingual Volunteers Teach English Conversation
Class |

Starting this September, the International
Patient Center invited two bilingual volunteers
to teach English Conversation Class at the hospital.
Kathy Huang and Jerry Chuang have both lived in
the U.S. for a long time and can speak English fluently.
With their lively teaching styles and enthusiasm,
the English Conversation Class is sure to offer
added benefits to the staffs at the hospital.

The 2nd Annual Bilingual Volunteers Training |

The 2nd Annual Bilingual Volunteers
Training of the International Patient Center was
successfully held with the support from all the
bilingual volunteers. The training included: a declaration
of volunteer service mission; the contents and responsibilities
of volunteer services; introduction of the International
Patient Center; discussion on the recruitment of
additional bilingual volunteers; and announcement
of upcoming events.

The International Patient Center
was invited to attend the 3rd Seminar on Bilingual
Medical Network in Northern Taiwan that was held
in Hsinchu Mackay Memorial Hospital on September
30. Jennifer Chu, Project Manager of International
Patient Center, gave a 90-minute speech in Chinese,
discussing the past, present, and future of the
bilingual environment at Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali.
