¡@¡@At the request of International Women's
Association of Taichung (IWAT), Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali has
arranged a special workshop for the members of IWAT, teaching
them the basics of the essential life-saving skill of cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) on Wednesday, September 17 from 10:00am~12:00pm.
IWAT members contacted Melody Hou, IWAT Tours / Workshops
Coordinator, to reserve their space for this workshop. 21
participants from 11 different countries met in front of the
Evergreen Laurel Hotel at 9:10am, where the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali's shuttle bus took them to the hospital and sent them
back to the hotel. The CPR class was taught by Dr. Chang,
Cardiologist-in-Chief and certified CPR Instructor at Jen-Ai
Hospital - Dali. There were a number of hospitals staffs on
site who helped out with the CPR Workshop. At the start of
the workshop, the IWAT members were given a short presentation
about CPR and then demonstration using "Annie" was
given. A coffee break was also arranged at the end of the
workshop. All in all, the ladies seemed to have a good time
and at the same time, received basic training needed for CPR.
