Hospital Management Asia Pre-Conference Seminar ¡V Patient Safety Workshop by National Healthcare Group |

Dr. Ming-I Chan Liao, Superintendent of Jen-Ai Hospital, and Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, attended the Patient Safety Workshop, a full day pre-conference seminar that took place in Singapore. There were more than 550 delegates from 30 countries representing 80 organizations, at this year's Hospital Management Asia Conference. It is the 5th annual event, often considered to be the premier learning conference for hospital managers in Asia.

Site Visit to Changi General Hospital in Singapore (1) |

Of the 5 post-conference hospital tours that were arranged by HMA Conference organizers, Mark Chan decided to visit Changi General Hospital (http://www.cgh.com.sg) in Singapore. This hospital has received Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation (like most other hospitals in Singapore) and has won several Asian Hospital Management Awards in Information Technology, Community Service and Social Responsibility projects, in the past.

Dr. Tony Hsu, Director of Community Medicine Dept. & Co-Director of Radiology Dept. visited Dr. Wang, the Director of Diagnostic Imaging at National University Hospital (NUH, http://www.nuh.com.sg). As a leader in national hospitals in Singapore, NUH spearheads the National Healthcare Group offering the high quality medical care services. Dr. Hsu was quite impressed with the high quality health care policies fulfilled in every department.
