¡@¡@In August 2004, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali
participated in various activities to further develop the
International Patient Center program at the hospital again.

Lincoln American School's Site Visit to Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali |

A group of teachers from Lincoln
American School ( http://www.lincolnamerican.org.tw
) visited Jen-Ai Hospital, as part of their new
teacher orientation. A brief tour and explanations
were provided by Jennifer Chu, Project Manager of
International Patient Center. Since many of the
teachers have just arrived in Taiwan, the teachers
were quite impressed to see that a hospital in Taichung
is able to provide bilingual services to its international
patients.

Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali Participates in Asian Hospital
Management Awards 2004 |

Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali was extremely
honored to be invited to participate in the Asian
Hospital Management Awards 2004 ( http://www.hospitalmanagementasia.com/hmaawards.htm
) to represent hospitals in Taiwan, this year. International
Patient Center submitted a 313 page report to the
organizing committee that is based in Makati City,
Philippines, for the screening process. If awarded
with the Asian Hospital Management Awards 2004,
the awarding ceremony will take place on October
7, 2004 in Bangkok, Thailand.

AmCham Dinner Meeting with Tunghai University Professor

As one of the 9 Board Members of
AmCham, Dr. Ming-I Chan Liao, the Superintendent
of Jen-Ai Hospital, and Mark Chan, Program Director
of International Patient Center, attended the AmCham
August Dinner Meeting, which was held at Smooth
Bar & Grill. Peter Chen, Associate Professor
of Tunghai University, was the guest speaker talking
about the upcoming events that is been organized
for Taichung's international community. Taking advantage
of the opportunity, Mark Chan announced the second
annual IPC Open House event; and at the end of the
meeting, discussed the possibility of collaborating
on other events that Professor Peter Chen was organizing.
