Site Visit to Taiwan Adventist Hospital's Priority Care Center in Taipei, Taiwan
Inspired by a presentation heard during the Medical Tourism North Asia Conference 2008, Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, visited Taiwan Adventist Hospital's Priority Care Center (http://www.tahsda.org.tw/en/3120.php). Priority Care Center has been providing medical services to the expat community in Taipei, similar to the International Patient Center services in Taichung. In recent years, Priority Care Center's Dr. Simon Chan has been mainly taking care of the growing Japanese community, as Japanese patients have been outnumbering the number of English-speaking patients, 2 to 1, in this particular institution.
