Several Jen-Ai Hospital International Patient Center's bilingual volunteers helped out at the AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce in Taichung) America Day Celebration in Taichung, which was once again held at Tiger City, this year. Regardless of the hot weather, the event attracted a crowd of happy spectators enjoying live music, a variety of food and drinks, etc. The local and the international communities mingled together to celebrate America's "Fourth of July" celebration in Taichung.

International Medical Tourism in Taiwan Seminar 2007 |

Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, attended the International Medical Tourism in Taiwan Seminar 2007, which took place inside the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall. As "Medical Tourism" has become one of the hottest topics in Taiwan, recently, there were more than 150 delegates from several local medical institutions that attended this seminar. Speakers, such as Dr. Kanwar Singh of Bangkok Hospital, Thailand; Mr. Samuel Tan of Parkway Group Healthcare Pte Ltd., Singapore; and other local experts shared their different views on how to best promote Medical Tourism in Taiwan.
