Site Visit to Wanfang Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan |
|
In between coffee breaks and during lunch time, Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, visited Wanfang Hospital's newly created International Liaison Center (http://www.taiwanhealthcare.com/english/index.aspx). Wanfang Hospital is considered to be one of the best hospitals in Taiwan and is the first medical center to be accredited with JCI (Joint Commission International). Like many other medical institutions in Taiwan, Wanfang Hospital has been trying very hard to attract medical travelers from abroad, but has met with limited success, thus far.
