International Women's Association of Taichung (IWAT) June Luncheon
This luncheon was not only a birthday celebration, but also a farewell party for one of our best friends -- Mrs. Marisol Marcano. The party began by Mrs. Marcano's short speech. In her opining speech, Mrs. Marcano expressed her gratitude to be part of IWAT and shared some of her unforgettable experiences in Taiwan. Indeed the speech was emotional as it touched every lady's heart in the room. Then, all the members gave their best wishes for those ladies whose birthdays are in June, July and August. As the party drew to the end, four more charities were elected to be financially supported by the IWAT ladies.

IWAT Coffee Morning
That was a nice and sunny morning; good time for a cup of coffee. This social gathering was held at Mrs. Anna Jaeger's apartment. The party began by welcoming the new members. Everybody had a wonderful opportunity to network and share their personal interests. During the party, the secretary of IWAT, Jan Harwood announced dates in July and August for the upcoming informal luncheons and some schedule changes in summer. Jessica Chang, the Tour and Workshop Coordinator of IWAT and Joanna Chang, the Project Coordinator of the International Patient Center had a discussion on some initiatives about a possible site visit at Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali.
