Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in various activities to
further develop the International Patient Center program at
the hospital. The following are just some of the activities
that the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in June:

Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali Arranges CPR Workshop for
Japanese Women Association in Taichung |

At the request of Japanese Women
Association in Taichung, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali arranged
a special workshop for its members, teaching them
the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation-CPR
on Wednesday, June 29 from 10:00am~12:30pm. 21 participants
attended the CPR class, which was taught by Dr.
Chang, Cardiologist-in-Chief and certified CPR Instructor
at Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali and was interpreted into
Japanese by May Chen, Project Manager of International
Patient Center. During the workshop, there was a
short presentation about CPR and then demonstrations
using "Annie" were given. All in all,
the ladies seemed to have a good time and at the
same time, received basic training needed for CPR.

Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali Attends Meeting in Hsinchu

Mark Chan, Program Director of International
Patient Center, attended a day-long meeting on "Establishing
a Bilingual Medical Environment" in Hsinchu Mackay
Memorial Hospital, which was organized by the Hsinchu
City Bureau of Health. During this meeting, several
foreigners gave presentations about their perceptions
of what it's like to go to a hospital, as well as
what hospitals can do to create a bilingual medical
environment in Taiwan. In addition, during Q &
A session, Mark Chan shared his experiences about
the difficulties, hospitals in Taiwan may face, when
treating foreigners and how JAH IPC handled these
situations.
