TAICHUNG, JEN-AI HOSPITAL - DALI
¡@¡@In May 2004, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated
in various activities to further develop the International
Patient Center program at the hospital. The following are
just some of the activities that the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali
participated in May:

Wednesday, May 5, 2004 -
IWAT May Luncheon |
|
Jennifer Chu attended the IWAT May
Luncheon at The Landis Hotel Taichung. Approximately
50 ladies wore costumes that represented their own
countries and elected the 2004-2005 IWAT Board members,
at this annual event. Activities, such as "National
Costume Competition" (ladies competed in 4
different categories); "Spotlight on Country"
(information about other countries were offered);
and "International Food Walk" (food from
all around the world were featured ). Jennifer Chu
took part in this event to initiate contact and
enjoy a wonderful lunch with the IWAT Ladies. |

Hank Westheim's Photo Shoot at Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali |

In the past 6 months, Hank Westheim,
a professional photographer, has visited Jen-Ai
Hospital - Dali, a number of times to take various
photos of the facilities, medical equipments, volunteers,
staffs and patients. These professional images will
eventually be used for posters, information booklets
and websites that Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali intends
to update in the future. Mr. Westheim is a freelance
photographer that has taken numerous photos for
many companies and corporations in the U.S., Canada,
U.K., Australia, South Africa, China, Taiwan, etc.

ICRT "Morning Call in Taichung" Radio

ICRT Radio Station ( http://www.icrt.com.tw
) - Rick Monday and Bill Thissen came to Taichung
for 5 days to broadcast "Morning Call in Taichung"
radio program at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel's Cigar
Lounge, from 8am ~ 11am. Co-hosted by Jason Hu,
the Taichung City Mayor, this radio program invited
different guests to discuss business, travel, leisure,
entertainment, dining and other cultural aspects
associated with Taichung. At 10:30am on Tuesday,
May 23, Mark Chan, Program Director of Jen-Ai Hospital
International Patient Center, was asked to speak
about meeting the healthcare needs of the international
community living in Taichung.
