¡@¡@ In April 2008, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in various activities to further develop the International Patient Center program at the hospital. The following are just some of the activities that the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in April:

Site Visit to Kurashiki Central Hospital in Okayama Prefecture, Japan |

Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center, visited Kurashiki Central Hospital ( http://www.kchnet.or.jp ) in Okayama Prefecture (which is located in Japan) to visit Daniel Kohira Chan, who is currently working there as an Anesthesiologist. This hospital is considered to be one of the best hospitals in the area with more than 80 year tradition. It is well-known in Taiwan that Mr. Lee Teng-hui, the ex-President of Taiwan, visited this hospital to undergo an angioplasty to widen clogged heart arteries, about 7 years ago.

While in Japan, Mark Chan also visited Kobe University Hospital ( http://www.hosp.kobe-u.ac.jp/index.html ), in which Jen-Ai Hospital International Patient Center was originally based upon. Dr. Chan Liao, the Executive Consultant of Jen-Ai Hospital (the ex-Superintendent), requested that when JAH IPC was in the planning stage (more than 5 years ago), the Project Manager needed to take a look at how Kobe University Hospital handled international patients when medical attention was sought at their hospital.
