¡@¡@In April 2005, Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated in various activities to further develop the International Patient Center program at the hospital. The following are just some of the activities that the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali participated during April:

Friday, April 15, 2005 -
Labor Health Examinations for Taiwan Shinkansen Trackwork Joint Venture
  Taiwan Shinkansen Trackwork Joint Venture chose the Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali Health Examination Center to accomplish their annually labor health examinations again. In total 26 laborers, including 4 foreign laborers qualified to accept examinations. Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center and Jennifer Chu, Project Manager of International Patient Center assisted the foreigners in completing every test smoothly. They were quite impressed to see that a hospital in Taichung is able to provide bilingual services to its international patients.

 
 

Tuesday, April 19, 2005 -
Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali Attends Taichung City Government Press Conference
  As a representative of AmCham Board members, Mark Chan, Program Director of International Patient Center attended the press conference for the official website launch of Taichung City's English Website ( http://webeng.tccg.gov.tw ) at Taichung City Hall. An opening speech was delivered by Jason Hu, Taichung City Mayor, and Doug Habecker, the co-publisher of Compass Magazine. Jen-Ai Hospital International Patient Center was recognized at the press conference for their significant contributions in serving the medical needs of the international community in Taichung.

 

Wednesday, April 20, 2005 -
The American School in Taichung's 1st Grade Field Trip
  Mr. Ben Cooperman, a Grade 1 teacher at The American School in Taichung (formerly Lincoln American School) requested a field trip for his class. Jennifer Chu, Project Manager of International Patient Center arranged this field trip to Jen-Ai Hospital - Dali for 9 first graders. A guided tour with explanations was provided by Director Lin of the Emergency Room, Dr. Fu of the OB/GYN Department, Dr. Lin of the ENT Department and Technician Yeh of the Radiology Department during this visit. The purpose of the trip was to give the students a positive experience at a hospital and to learn more about how the hospital staff is helping the community.
